Samuel Beckett

In 2019 I wrote my final brit lit research paper on Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting For Godot”, a rather existential and enigmatic play. At the time I was just beginning to paint portraits, so when I received a lovely invitation to create a painting of the author, I was a bit intimidated! I really enjoyed the experimental process of playing with colors, tones, and textures. I learned so much, and felt pleasantly surprised with how the painting turned out! I cherish this piece because it was a turning point for me, sparking my deep love of portrait painting.
